Dear BCLL Community,

We are extremely excited that we will be holding Opening Day this Saturday (March 27^th) and kicking off our spring season! Given that we were unable to play last spring, we are more excited than ever for our kids to get on the field.

As we kick-off the season, we wanted to remind everyone of the Little League Parent Code of Conduct as well as a few other behavioral policies to be followed while on the premises.

1. Remember that the children participate for fun and the game is for the children, not the parents.
2. Be a positive role model for your child by showing respect and courtesy, and by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, umpires, and spectators.
3. Do not engage in any kind of unsportsmanlike conduct with any player, parent, coach, umpire, or spectator. This includes but is not limited to booing, taunting, and profane language or gestures.
4. Do not participate, or encourage, any behavior that would endanger the health and well-being of the players.
5. Teach your child to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
6. Teach your child to treat all players, coaches, umpires, and spectators with the utmost respect regardless of race, creed, color, gender, or ability.
7. Never ridicule or yell at your child or other players for making a mistake or losing a competition.
8. Respect the umpires and never question their authority during games by questioning or confronting them.
9. Respect the BCLL Board of Directors as they are the authority figures on the premises during all Little League events, practices, and games.

We ask that everyone abide by the above guidelines as character-building and ethics are developed through sportsmanship and we want to be positive role models for our children.
